This NIBRS dataset provides information about each crime incident, such as how many other segments - Offense, Offender, Victim, and Arrestee Segments - exist for each incident. This data also has several important variables at the incident level, including the date and the hour of the day the incident occurred. Finally, this data provides information on whether the case was cleared exceptionally and, if so, what type of exceptional clearance occurred.
