 Cette église, aux deux clochers typiques de l'art roman pyrénéen est la plus grande et la plus achevée de toutes les églises de la vallée de l'Arboust. Elle est dédiée à un berger de la vallée, un ermite très populaire qui vivait là vers la fin du VIII ème siècle.  This church, with two typical steeples of Pyrenean Romanesque art, is the largest and most completed of all the churches in the Arboust Valley. It is dedicated to a shepherd of the valley, a very popular hermit who lived there towards the end of the 8th century.
