the expression of TF MEF2C is decreased in skeletal muscle of PRR14-KO mice,which displays sarcopenia phenotype. Meanwhile, increasing MEF2C's expression in skeletal muscle lessens the phenotype. Overall design: To investigate MEF2C's function in the regulation of skeletal muscle's mass and function, we increased MEF2C's expression through AAV virus in the skeletal muscle of PRR14-KO mice. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of PRR14-KO skeletal muscle injected with AAV virus for 1 month.
