资源简介:
The primary housing price data were extracted from the Mercado Libre website using web scraping techniques. This approach allowed for the collection of 6,815 observations of properties for sale in various localities of the city. Mercado Libre is a leading e-commerce platform in Latin America, with a dedicated real estate section that contains numerous property listings. The platform is continuously updated with new listings, providing a constant flow of current and diverse data. The listings include specific details about each property, such as the number of rooms, bathrooms, and square meters, which are essential for detailed analysis. This comprehensive approach enabled the collection of data from a wide range of localities and socioeconomic strata, resulting in a diverse and representative database. To ensure diverse geographical and socioeconomic representation, we selected 19 localities of Bogotá, covering socioeconomic strata from 1 to 6, which reflect different income levels. The data extraction focused on apartments and houses to capture a broad spectrum of the real estate market. In addition to real estate data, we collected data on green spaces and biodiversity from secondary sources, specifically from open data provided by the Bogotá Botanical Garden. To capture perceptions of insecurity across different localities, we used data from the Bogotá- Cundinamarca Multipurpose Survey (EM-2021) conducted by the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE)
