<p>This dataset contains silica uptake rates from Synechococcus cyanobacteria cultures grown in Sargasso Sea water with and without added orthophosphate. &nbsp;Experiments took place at the Krause Lab at Dauphin Island Sea Laboratory (30.2501,-88.0788) between August of 2013 to&nbsp;September of 2014.</p> <p>These results are also presented in the following paper:</p> <p>Brzezinski, M.
