资源简介:
This fileset contains EEG data related to the following published article: Catherine Manning, Blair Kaneshiro, Peter J. Kohler, Mihaela Duta, Gaia Scerif and Anthony M. Norcia. (2019). Neural dynamics underlying coherent motion perception in children and adults. Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience, 38, 100670 https://doi.org/10.1016/j.dcn.2019.100670. The script MOVEP_analysis4_corrected.m was used to generate the output .mat datasets contained in this data record. This code has already been shared under a BSD license on the OSF repository: https://osf.io/fkjt6/ (which is linked to in the published paper). A total of 122 Matlab formatted datasets are contained in this data record, each contains pre-processed electroencephalography (EEG) data for each of the 122 participants of the study. The datasets have the following format: Formatted_XXXX.3_40_preproc.mat, where XXXX corresponds to the participant ID. Participant IDs are listed in dataset demographics_incl.csv. The data in the Matlab formatted datasets result from preprocessing/formatting steps (see readme https://osf.io/fa5yp/). More details on the variables in each .mat file are provided in the document DCNpaper_DataUpload-.docx.
MarkUpFile.docx is a key explaining the EEG triggers found in the formatted data files (Triggers.matrix in each Formatted_XXXX.3_40_preproc.mat). Netstation triggers have a 4-character event code - and these are FXTN, BOIL, STIM, RESP and OFFS. They correspond to each trial event (FXTN = fixation onset, BOIL = boil; STIM = stimulus onset, RESP = response, and OFFS = stimulus offset). Each trigger also has keycode-keyvalue pairings (e.g., cohe = 10/30/50/75/100, dire = 0/1; corr = 0/1). When exporting the datafiles from Netstation to .raw files that were preprocessed in MATLAB, the authors converted these Netstation triggers into triggers with 4 digits that contain all of the information. These 4-digit triggers are found in Triggers.matrix in each Formatted_XXXX.3_40_preproc.mat file.
