OMH Health Profiles by Population

The Health Profiles by Population is an information resource developed by the HHS, Office of Minority Health (OMH). It provides comprehensive profiles of racial and ethnic minority populations in the United States, including: Demographics, Socioeconomic characteristics (education, income, insurance), Health status and outcomes, and social determinants of health. Each profile (e.g., African American, Hispanic/Latino, Asian American, etc.) synthesizes data from multiple federal and non-federal sources. This resource is designed to support: Public health research on disparities, Policy development and evaluation, Program planning and resource allocation, and Education and awareness of minority health issues.
