This is a dataset about chess matches, including information such as match events, locations, names of the two players, match results, match dates and times. The dataset also provides the players Elo ratings, rating differences, ECO codes (coding of chess openings), names of openings, time controls, termination methods of the match, match transcripts, and FEN sequences (descriptions of the chessboard state). The dataset is divided into two versions, 201301 and 202302-00000-00009, each with training set data.
