资源简介:
The data generated by this project relate to the genomes of antibiotic resistant bacterial isolates and metagenomes of samples obtained from of adult human faeces, poultry caecae and environmental samples including waste water and solid waste. Escherichia coli was used as a sentinel organism for antibiotic resistance. The aim of the overarching project was to identify drivers of antibiotic resistance and pathways of transmission of resistance between the environment, animals and humans. The project ran from June 2016 to January 2019 and was carried out by researchers at Loughborough University in collaboration with the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b). The sequenced data represent a subsample from the overarching project. The project was funded by the Antimicrobial Resistance Cross Council Initiative supported by the seven research councils in partnership with the Department of Health and Department for Environment Food & Rural Affairs, NERC award number NE/N019555/1.
