Impact of simulated flooding on the quality of the soil environment. Soil metagenome

Three different Fluvisols from meadows located in Wojszyn and Janowiec in Lubelskie Voivodeship were selected for the research. The Fluvisols were collected as soil blocks into containers and flooded with river water form Vistula.For two weeks water was maintained at the level of 5 cm above the soil level in controlled conditions. Samples were taken after 7 and 14 days of water stagnation. The next step was to left samples to dry. Samples were taken after 7,14,28,42 and 56 days of drying.
