Tomato benchmark datasets generated using SimGP Version 1.0.0

This dataset contains the simulated multi-trait tomato breeding population and benchmark datasets generated using SimGP Version 1.0.0 and used in the study “SimGP: A Simulation Framework for Benchmarking Genomic Prediction Methods”. The simulated population comprises 200 F6 genotypes from 20 biparental families, 2,580 genome-wide SNP markers distributed across 12 chromosomes, and five simulated traits: yield, fruit weight, Brix, days to flowering, and bacterial wilt severity. The deposited files contain phenotypic records, SNP genotypes, SNP marker information, pedigree records, and true breeding values used for genomic prediction benchmarking. The datasets were generated using a fixed random seed (20260511) to support reproducibility.
