CoARA by numbers dataset

This dataset has been created for the study Pölönen, J. & Rushforth, A. (2025) "CoARA by numbers: Research assessment reform uptake in European higher education", available as preprint here: https://doi.org/10.31235/osf.io/69vjr_v1The dataset consists of information about 3439 European Higher Education Institutions with reference year 2022 from 1) the European Tertiary Education Register (ETER), enriched with data on 2) universities included in Leiden Ranking Open Edition, 3) partners of the European Universities Alliances, 4) CoARA signatories, members, and action plans, and 5) organisations awarded the HR Excellence in Research label, and 6) signatories of the DORA declaration.The information sources and their integration into ETER dataset is described in the preprint.
