Social capital, socioeconomic status (gender+), peer networks and community participation in local (democracy) governance of Indian villages

This data set contains face-to-face interview data on household-level socioeconomic status, their peer networks, and participation in open meetings of 135 households in seven villages of Uttar Pradesh India. The data collection for the thesis was funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
