Simulation Data of Storm Surge and Waves for Historical Hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico

We provide ADCIR+SWAN input and output data for historical hurricanes Barry, Gustav, Ida, Ike, Isaac, Katrina, Laura, Nate, and Rita. The data includes the finite element mesh and associated data. The hurricanes are forced by either National Hurricane Center Best Track data using a Holland Wind Model or by reanalysis winds. Waves are computed using SWAN. This data can be used for storm surge analysis from historical storms or for engineering analysis; for example, computing loads on structures, among other uses.
