This dataset provides data files to accompany the article Promoter methylation of <em>QKI</em> as a potential specific biomarker for early detection of colorectal cancer. <br> The data included methylation sequencing data of the <em>QKI </em>gene from our independent validation set, including 271 colorectal cancer tissue samples, 8 adenoma tissue samples, 9 polyp tissue samples, 24 adjacent normal tissue samples, 29 colorectal cancer peripheral blood leukocyte samples, 29 healthy controls peripheral blood leukocyte samples, and the cfDNA samples from 9 patients of colorectal cancer and 5 healthy controls. <br>
