Published data were used in a project focused on identifying fungal species on archival audio-visual materials and in the air of archives. The sampling was performed in the years 2019-2020. Samples were collected in four state archives in the Czech Republic (State Regional Archive Litomerice and Prague-Chodovec, State District Archive Nepomuk and Hradistko). 3 000 litres of air were collected on the PTFE fluoropore membranes using a MAS-100 Eco aeroscope. The smears were taken from photographic emulsions using sterile polyurethane sponges, which are gentle on the materials.
