AoSte12 is required for mycelial development, conidiation, trap morphogenesis, and secondary metabolism by regulating hyphal fusion in nematode-trapping fungus of Arthrobotrys oligospora [gene expression]

Transcriptomic analysis revealed that differentially expressed genes in the absence of AoSte12 were involved in mycelial growth, development process,conidiation, cell nucleus and trap formation. Overall design: WT (represented by A) and ?Aoste12 (represented by B) strains grown on cellophane-overlaid CMY plates at 28°C for 5 and 7 days, three replicates were used for each sample. After collecting the samples, RNA was extracted with the AxyPrep Multisource RNA Miniprep Kit (Axygen, Jiangsu, China), and then sent to Majorbio Bio-Pharm Technology Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China) to construct the transcriptome of WT and ?Aoste12 strains. The final cDNA library was sequenced on an Illumina Novaseq 4000 platform.
