Data for "Harnessing Deep Learning to Improve Near-Inertial Internal Wave Forecasts" by Liu et al. (2025)

This dataset contains the materials necessary to reproduce the key results presented in the research "Harnessing Deep Learning to Improve Near-Inertial Internal Wave Forecasts" by Kun Liu et al. (2025). It includes: (1) the deep learning code used for near-inertial internal wave (NIW) prediction, (2) the observational NIW data from moored instruments used for model training and evaluation, and (3) the predicted NIW fields from both the deep learning model and the slab model. These resources are provided to ensure transparency and reproducibility of the study.
