Podcast users likely to start paying for content in the U.S. 2020, by gender

A survey amongst American podcast users found that most adults who had only ever accessed podcasts for free were unlikely to pay for one in the coming year. This is consistent in a gender comparison, although men demonstrated a slightly higher wlllingness to pay; a total of 22 percent of male respondents indicated they would consider paying to listen to a podcast, compared to 18 percent of women.
