This series comprises volumes recording reports of auxiliaries of Prince Henry’s Hospital (previously known as Melbourne Homoeopathic Dispensary 1869-1876; Melbourne Homoeopathic Hospital 1876-1934) (VA 441). The reports provide a summary of the activities and fundraising of auxiliaries for the previous month. Auxiliaries were formed to assist the hospital in various ways, particularly with fundraising. Some equipment throughout the hospital was purchased from auxiliary funds. The Central Council of Auxiliaries was formed in 1929. However, the reports in PROV's custody date from 1955, with the March 1955 report being the earliest extant report. There is some overlap in the report books’ content between the 1955-1967 period.
