Housing SA Housing Register by Selected Areas and Category

The number of customers who areas selected they were prepared to live in on the housing register by category as at 30 June. Customers may select more than one area.\r\n\r\nThe dataset includes: the area code, selected area, category (Category 1 or ‘other’), and total housing in that area.\r\n\r\nNote:\r\n\r\n•\tHousing register data is captured at a point in time.\r\n\r\n•\tData includes public and Aboriginal applications only.\r\n\r\n•\t‘Other category’ is customers on category 2, category 3, and pending status of the housing register.\r\n\r\n•\tArea Code ‘999 other country’ includes individual country towns.\r\n\r\n•\tTowns that aren’t included in the dataset are areas where Housing SA has no public and/or Aboriginal properties.\r\n\r\n•\tExcludes:\r\n\r\n- Transfer applications.\r\n\r\n­- Deferred applications. Applications are deferred due to extended non-contact or at a customer’s request when they are unable to accept housing (e.g. unable to break lease, hospitalisation etc.)\r\n\r\n­- Incomplete applications.
