Ti2Sb crystallizes in the tetragonal I4/mmm space group. The structure is three-dimensional. there are two inequivalent Ti sites. In the first Ti site, Ti is bonded to five equivalent Sb atoms to form a mixture of distorted corner and edge-sharing TiSb5 square pyramids. There are one shorter (2.80 Å) and four longer (2.82 Å) Ti–Sb bond lengths. In the second Ti site, Ti is bonded in a 4-coordinate geometry to four equivalent Sb atoms. All Ti–Sb bond lengths are 2.86 Å. Sb is bonded in a 9-coordinate geometry to nine Ti atoms.
