资源简介:
HL is one of the traditional chinese medicine, exhibits multiple activities, such as anti-inflammation, anti-tumor, and anti-diabetes. it is reported that its anti-diabetes activity is highly associated with the alteration of gut microbiota. We used high-fat diet (HFD) with streptozotocin injection to induce T2D in C57BL/6 mice. One group of these mice were administered with HL by oral gavage after 2 weeks of diet intervention and continued for additional 4 weeks (DM-HL group), and the others were given distilled water as disease control (DM group). To determine the overall microbial structure after HL treatment, we sequenced the 16S rRNA gene V3-V4 region of fecal samples collected at the end of trial across all groups (NC group, DM group, DM-HL group), using Illuminar Miseq platform.
