Anti-Semitism in Austria – Snapshot Young People 2024 (SUF edition)

Full edition for scientific use. The Anti-Semitism Snapshot Study 2024 compiled by IFES is a continuation of the Anti-Semitism studies commissioned by the Austrian Parliament in 2018, 2020 and 2022.
In the summer of 2024, a study was conducted on the attitudes of young people in Austria following the Hamas attack in October 2023. It analysed the attitudes of 16 to 27-year-olds, particularly with regard to the Middle East conflict. Possible correlations between the assessment of the conflict and anti-Semitic attitudes were also recorded. The results were compared with the data from the special evaluation on antisemitism among young people for the 2022 Anti-Semitism study in order to analyse changes since the attack.

2024年夏季，研究团队针对2023年10月哈马斯（Hamas）袭击事件后奥地利年轻人的态度展开调研。本次研究分析了16至27岁群体的态度倾向，重点聚焦中东冲突（Middle East conflict）相关议题，同时记录了该群体对冲突的评价与反犹主义态度之间可能存在的关联。为分析该袭击事件以来的态度变化，研究团队将本次调研结果与2022年反犹主义研究中针对年轻人反犹主义情况的专项评估数据进行了比对。
