Community composition of lake periphytic biofilms

Microcosm experiments were conducted in order to assess the effects of a pulse exposure of glyphosate on community composition of lake biofilms at different colonization stages (2 months, 1 year and 20 years). Community composition was determined by deep sequencing of the 18S and 16S rDNA genes to target eukaryotes and Cyanobacteria, respectively.
