NRS-4950 | Registers of admissions to and discharges from hospital wards (administration) [Liverpool State Hospital and Home]

It is thought that these two volumes are a record of hospital cases kept in the general office of the asylum. The information is recorded in the form used in registering admissions and discharges of inmates to and from the asylum (see description of the series Registers of admissions and discharges, 1859-1959). Although begun in mid-1895, volume [7/5324] contains entries for patients admitted as far back as 1884. Volume [7/5325] is a consolidation of the patients remaining at 13 May 1898 and a continuation from that date. Both volumes are self-indexed. (7/5324-25; microfilm copy SR Reels 1399-1400). 2 vols.
