Indigestion, mastitis and laminitis are common challenges in dairy industry, the understanding of these challenges on bacterial community in the rumen and feces of lactating dairy cows were still limited. Here with 45 Holstein dairy cows, including 10 healthy, 11 with indigestion, 13 with mastitis, and 11 with laminitis enrolled, we performed MiSeq Illumina sequencing of the V3~V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene on ruminal and fecal samples to reveal their bacterial communities change.
