Spectroscopically Recovered Strong Gravitational Lenses and Candidates in DESI DR2

This dataset includes two FITS catalogs derived from DESI Data Release 2 (DR2) spectra: (1) anomaly-selected outlier spectra containing 9971 new candidates, and (2) a separate lens-matched catalog containing 70 previously confirmed systems cross-matched with external strong-lens compilations from HSC and KiDS. Cross-matching with published strong-lens compilations from the Hyper Suprime-Cam (HSC) survey and the Kilo-Degree Survey (KiDS) was performed with a fixed 6 arcsec matching radius, following Shu & Li (2025). Two catalogs are provided: DESI Outlier Catalog (outlier_cand_catalog.fits): anomaly-selected DESI spectra from the UMAP+FoF pipeline. DESI Lens-Matched Catalog (outlier_lenses_catalog.fits): DESI systems in the analysis sample that overlap with KiDS and/or HSC lens compilations, with per-object membership flags. External lens sources used for cross-matching: HSC: SuGOHI public compilation from Sonnenfeld et al. (PASJ 70, S29). KiDS: strong-lens sample from He et al. (2025). The tables below summarize the variables included in this release, their data types, and provenance.
