Funding and Research Output Data

The dataset includes researcher-year observations. Each researcher is given a unique anonym identifier. Then for each year since the start of the observation period (> 2004) the baseline demographics of the researcher (gender, research area, institution type), some time-dependent data (age group, rolling average of the evaluation score and binary information on ERC funding) are included, together with information on SNSF funding (funding/treated yes or no, case) as well as the research output summaries (number of citations, preprints and articles, yearly average of altmetrics, RCR, FCR, citations per article).
