Prunus mongolica Genome sequencing and assembly

Prunus mongolica is an ecologically and economically important xerophytic tree native to Northwest China. P. mongolica is of particular importance for maintaining the stability of desert ecosystems and sustaining agricultural development in arid regions. Here, we report a high-quality, chromosome-level P. mongolica genome assembly integrating PacBio high-fidelity sequencing and Hi-C technology. This high-quality reference genome will accelerate the study of the adaptation of xerophytic plants to drought.
