This dataset contains experimentally collected data on the Dynamic Increase Factor (DIF) of mortar subjected to high strain-rate loading, obtained using the Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar (SHPB) technique. The database includes both compressive and tensile test results, reported as DIFc and DIFt, respectively. The dataset was compiled from 18 published studies and consists of 400 samples for compressive DIF (DIFc) and 224 samples for tensile DIF (DIFt). It is intended to support data-driven analysis, comparative assessment, and model development for the dynamic mechanical behavior of mortar materials under impact and high-rate loading conditions. The database is organized into two sheets: DIFc: compressive dynamic increase factor data DIFt: tensile dynamic increase factor data The input variables include: Water-to-cement ratio (W/C) Sand-to-cement ratio (S/C) Sand content (Sc) Curing days (Cd) Quasi-static compressive strength Quasi-static tensile strength Strain rate The output variables are: DIFc: dynamic increase factor in compression DIFt: dynamic increase factor in tension This dataset may be useful for researchers working in impact engineering, cement-based materials, structural engineering, and machine learning applications for material behavior prediction.
