Hydrogen production in the deep subsurface of the Iberian Pyrite Belt by Shewanella putrefaciens T2.3D-1.1

Study of H2 production and the metabolic response of Shewanella putrefaciens T2.3D-1.1, a strain isolated from the deep subsurface of the Iberian Pyrite Belt. Combining Illumina MiSeq and Pacbio reads a closed genome was assembled. RNA-seq was performed to understand the response of this isolate to the exhaustion of an external electron acceptor.
