The Rock-paper-scissors dataset contains 2,892 images of diverse hands performing rock, paper, or scissors gestures. It comprises images of various hands spanning different ethnicities, age groups and genders, posed in the three respective gestures and annotated with corresponding labels. All images were generated using CGI technology for experiments designed to evaluate whether CGI-based datasets can be applied to classification tasks targeting real-world images.
Notably, all samples are captured against a plain white background, with each image being a 24-bit color image at a resolution of 300 × 300 pixels.
