Genome sequences of Streptococcus suis strains isolated from human patients, diseased, and asymptomatic pigs in Thailand

A zoonotic bacterial pathogen Streptococcus suis causes economic impacts in both intensive swine production and human health worldwide. This study reported whole-genome sequences of 9 S. suis strains isolated from human patients, diseased pigs, and asymptomatic pigs in Thailand, providing additional resources for future genomic study.​​
