Environmental microbial metagenome sequencing in Cordyceps sinensis production areas

This project aimed to determine the variations in soil microorganisms across different Chinese cordyceps (Cordyceps sinensis) production regions of the Tibetan Plateau, including Zaduo (ZD), Yushu (YS), Maqin (MQ), Henan (HN) and Hualong (HL). Meanwhile, it assessed the impact of Chinese cordyceps collection on soil microorganisms. Our study results suggest that soil microbial communities differed between provenances and that collection influenced microbial community composition and function.
