Sadang B: The White Mask (Music Performance), Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul, Korea, October 11th 2019 - 1st March 2020.

<b>Sadang B </b>(2019) is an exhibition project comprised of three newly commissioned projects, <b>Un-Splitting </b>(Performance), <b>The White Mask</b> (Music performance) and <b>To Paint A Portrait of a Bird </b>(Installation).This interdisciplinary project questions the normalisation of extreme nationalism and social inequality by exploring the human - animal boundary through the lens of those socially marginalised in South Korea. <b>Sadang B</b> is suggested as a site where these enquiries can take place.<br><br>This item contains a contextual outline of the performance, an excerpt of The White Mask (5 mins), an exhibition leaflet, an exhibition view and a composite of stills from the installation.<br><br>This item documents <b>The White Mask,</b> a 3-screen video installation of a musical performance developed and created in a collaboration between Young In Hong and Notes Inegales, an experimental music ensemble, to address the notion of 'becoming animal' through music making.<br><b><br>Videographer: Will Smith<br>Photography Courtesy of Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul.</b><b>Used with permission. </b><br><br><b>The work is under copyright and may not be used without permission.
