Supplementary Data for "Two-thirds of global coastline affected by climate-driven saline groundwater intrusion by end of century, with potential to reach far inland"
收藏资源简介:
This is the supplementary data for an article titled "Two-thirds of global coastline affected by climate-driven saline groundwater intrusion by end of century, reaching far inland by 2300". "constant_data.nc" contains the following data for the base scenario: "CRR-ID": Identifier of climate reference region, based on Iturbide et al. (2019). Reference for IDs given in Table S1 of the manuscript. "Area": Area of cell, in square kilometers. "Por_eff": Effective porosity, based on Huscroft et al. (2018). "K": Hydraulic conductivity, based on Huscroft et al. (2018), in meters per day. "D_aqu": Aquifer depth, based on depth to bedrock by Shangguan et al. (2017), meters. "anag": Annual net abstraction from groundwater, based on Müller-Schmied et al. (2020), in cubic meters per year. "Population": Population count, based on CIESIN (2018), in capita. "time_variant_data_rcp26.nc" and "time_variant_data_rcp60.nc" contains the following data for the base scenario under RCP 2.6 and RCP 6.0, respectively for the years 2050, 2075, 2100 (along the dimension "time"): "Delta_saline_groundwater": Difference in saline groundwater interface height compared to the year 2025, calculated as: interface height change by [time] minus by 2025, in meters. "SLR": Relative sea level rise, based on Mengel et al. (2017), in meters. "dH": Hydraulic gradient, calculated using simulated groundwater levels, sea level at [time], and distance to coast. "dT": Topographic gradient, calculated using surface elevation, sea level at [time], and distance to coast. "SGI": Climate-driven saline groundwater intrusion, calculated as volume of saline groundwater intrusion by [time] minus by 2025, in cubic kilometers.
