The purpose of this analysis is to analyze the changes in gene expression that occur in cancer cells when CD63 is knocked down in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) cell lines. We performed a comprehensive analysis of mRNA in CD63 knockdown human ESCC cell lines (TE2, TE15) using microarrays. Two human ESCC cell lines (TE2 and TE15) were transfected with siRNA (OriGene CD63 siRNA, cat No. SR300689A) using lipofectamine, total RNA was extracted 48 hours later and analyzed using SurePrint G3 Human GE microarray v.3.0 (Agilent).
