Research data supporting Virtual reality design-build-test games with physics simulation: opportunities for researching design cognition

The research methods are described in the publication. The data were collected in February 2018 during two exploratory workshops conducted at the Department of Engineering of the University of Cambridge (UK). This spreadsheet file contains the descriptive and numerical data resulting from the participants’ performance in the conception generation phase, first build & test phase and second build & test phase of the two workshops. In the spreadsheet, the column headings correspond to the methods described in the publication.
