ORCHIDEE-Hg/input_data

Input datasets required to run the ORCHIDEE-Hg model simulations. This repository contains atmospheric mercury (Hg) deposition outputs from GEOS-Chem simulations for 1970–2020 and the pre-industrial period. The simulations were performed using GEOS-Chem v13.4.1, together with MERRA-2 meteorological data and the EDGAR emission inventory. The dataset includes both wet and dry mercury deposition fluxes, provided as annual NetCDF files containing monthly average values at a horizontal resolution of 2° × 2.5°. The files are: - wetdep_YYYY_ngm2s.nc: annual wet Hg deposition fluxes for each year from 1970 to 2020.- drydep_YYYY_ngm2s.nc: annual dry Hg deposition fluxes for each year from 1970 to 2020.- wetdep_preindus_ngm2s.nc: wet Hg deposition fluxes for the pre-industrial period.- drydep_preindus_ngm2s.nc: dry Hg deposition fluxes for the pre-industrial period. Fluxes are expressed in ng m⁻² s⁻¹.
