Analysis of gene expression level. The hypothesis tested in the present study was that ERF4 overexpression affects cell cycle-related genes expression which promotes endoreduplication in Arabidopsis. mRNA profiles from rosette leaves of 28-d-old plants of WT and OE (overexpression of ERF4 driven by the CaMV 35S promoter, Pro35S:ERF4) were generated by deep sequencing, in duplicate, using Illumina NovaSeq 6000.
