VPRS 11480 Register of Teachers Who Completed Certificates of Competency in Swimming and Life Saving

The register lists: date of exam, name and address of teacher, marks for - breaststroke, backstroke, sidestroke, theory, dummy rescue, swimming in clothes, undressing on water (?), land drills, diving, jumping, phys. and hygiene, marks for five different rescues and three different releases, teaching practice and total marks. This is followed by remarks (often the date the certificate was issued) and the certificate number (roughly sequential). From 1936, the examiners name is included.
