This dataset contains files related to the publication: Caldag, H.O. & Bees, M.A. Fine-tuning the dispersion of active suspensions using oscillatory flows. https://doi.org/10.1098/rsta.2024.0259 The supplementary files contain two folders and four videos. Folders: - Individual-Based Simulations contain all the codes used in the individual-based simulations. - oomph-lib FEM code contains the code for the continuum-based solution. Each folder has a separate README file. Check them for further information. Files: - Caldag_Bees_Supplementary_1.mp4 is the experiment video with Wo=3.58 (See Figs. 1b-i) - Caldag_Bees_Supplementary_2.mp4 is the experiment video with Wo=4.52 (See Figs. 1j-m) - Caldag_Bees_Supplementray_3.mp4 is an animation of particles simulated with the Lagrangian-based approach, showing how they disperse at the whole spectrum of Wo tested. - Caldag_Bees_Supplementray_4.avi is an animation of concentration distribution simulated with the Eulerian-based approach, showing how they disperse at three Wo values discussed in the article.
