Building Site Walking Acoustic and Vibration Recordings

This dataset contains recordings of the sound and vibration caused by a walking person, moving on different types of floors in different buildings in different but (for the recordings) standardized ways. Different recording equipment was used including an ambisonic microphone system, a low noise microphone, a comercial vibration measurement system and a self developed vibration measurement system. The data created from sound pressure and vibration measurements are stored with a brief description of the data, its origin, its unique identifier, the date and the time periods of the data. These descriptions can be found in accompanying files, depending on the device used for measurement.
