X-ray projection images of in vivo mouse thorax

X-ray images of a live mouse imaged in an upright position during mechanical ventilation. The 1984x1984-pixel images have undergone a standard flat-field correction and have been histogram matched as part of a larger set of images given on an 8-bit gray scale. The vertical edge corresponds to approximately 60 mm in length. Each frame is acquired during a 4 second exposure with a source-to-object distance of 59 cm and and object-to-detector distance of 177 cm. The spot size of the source is approximately 10 microns in diameter. The source was operated at 70 kVp with 100 W intensity. The first 4 frames of the multi-page TIFF file correspond to inflation pressures of 6, 8, 10 and 12 cmH2O, respectively. The last 4 frames are RGB masks indicating regions of interest used in training various image texture classification models. For convenience, the entire TIFF file is given in RGB mode.
