We found that RSPO3 is highly expressed in ovarian cancer tissue and its expression level is positively correlated with tumor metastasis and disease progression. In vitro knockdown or overexpression of RSPO3 significantly inhibited or promoted the invasion ability of ovarian cancer cells, respectively. Thus, to further investigate the potential mechanism of which RSPO3 promotes tumor aggressiveness in ovarian cancer, we sent the RSPO3 overexpression group of OVCAR3 cells along with the control group to perform transcriptome next-generation sequencing. The differentially expressed genes between groups and the pathways corelated with RSPO3 overexpression were detected with method of bioinformatics analysis.
