16S sequencing of the bacteria in the compost samples

In order to investigate the effect of electric field on microbial community composition in different composting periods, we designed an electric field-assisted composting experiment with four groups of treatments, CK: no electricity, E1: electricity for the whole composting process, E2: electricity only for the early composting period, and E3: electricity only for the late composting period. We analysed the community composition of bacteria during the composting period, 7d representing the early composting period and 35d representing the late composting period.
