On May 27, 1910, for me, Master Gheysens, notary at the residence of Antwerp, appeared: COOPERATIONS ‘DELLA FAILLE’ who have declared, under the usual and legal guarantees and free of all mortgage and privilege rights and of all resolutive legal claims and other (financial) charges, and with guarantee against all ambiguities, foreclosures and any other general impediments, to the City of Antwerp, represented by its College of Mayor and Ships, for whom Mr. Jean Devos, Knight of the Order of Leopold, Mayor of Antwerp, acts, assisted by Mr. Auguste Possemiers, Knight of the Order of Leopold, Regional Secretary, both residing in Antwerp, to sell, cede ownership and transport the following: 1°. Half of the areas, indicated by a red colour/tint and the letter B on plan No 1 attached here, are located in Wilrijk, with a total area of 8 348 m2. This half has an area of 4 174 m2, the other half has been donated free of charge to the City under Article 11. 2°. The areas indicated by a red colour and the letter C on plan No 2 attached here, located in Wilrijk, with an area of 200 397, 32 m2. 3°. The areas indicated by a red colour and the letter D on plan No 3 attached here, located in Wilrijk and Berchem, of an area of 156 419, 73 m2. 4°. The areas indicated by a red colour and the letter E on plan No 4 attached here, located in Wilrijk, with an area of 45 436, 36 m2. 5°. The areas indicated by a red colour and the letter F on plan No 5 attached here, located in Wilrijk, with an area of 24 525, 64 m2. 6°. The areas indicated by a red colour and the letter G on plan No 6 attached here, located in Wilrijk, with an area of 39 845, 62 m2. 7°. The areas indicated by a red colour and the letter H on plan No 7 attached here, located in Berchem, with an area of 3 106, 22 m2. 8°. The areas indicated by a red colour and the letter I on plan No 8 attached here, located in Berchem, with an area of 10 207, 14 m2. Deze plannen, opgesteld op 4 mei 1910 door Mr. Gondrexon, beëdigde landmeter in Antwerpen en door M. Van den Bergh, beëdigde landmeter, bestuurder van de Stad Antwerpen, zullen, na erkenning en paraaf, toegevoegd blijven aan deze akte Eigendomsrechten Prijs De huidige verkoop vindt plaats volgens de prijs van 5,50 frank per m² en het totale bedrag van de verkoopsprijs, opgesteld volgens de oppervlaktes aangeduid door de opmetingen van Mr. Gondrexon en Van den Berg, bedraagt 2.662.616.16 frank. The sellers acknowledge that they have received this amount from the City of Antwerp, in values in their full agreement, of which there is a receipt. The parties own the right to have a new contradictory measurement carried out. The greater or the lesser difference, which might exist, will be reimbursed to the sellers or to the City of Antwerp on the basis of the amount of 5.50 francs per m2. Conditions Art. 1. – The properties described above are sold in their current condition with all the trees and buildings in them. The sellers declare that they do not guarantee anything with regard to the nature of the soil or the materials that could be there. Sellers declare to keep the following from the sale: 1°.- all boundary posts, gilded stones, etc. bearing their rank number or the coat of arms of their family. 2°.- the fences, gates and fences that are located along the "Zandstraat". 3°.- the fences, gates and fences that are located along the "Nachtegaalstraat" and that can be picked up by the sellers from the moment the City has replaced them. 4°.- the twelve border posts in stone, placed at the entrance of the castle "den Brandt", and the paving stones that are part of it, the fence in iron and the fence that control the two entrances to the large boulevard / reef. 5°.- the fence, placed along the road, called "the course of the knights / riders". The sellers will, at the end of the current leases, vacate the two farms, which are located in the sold areas, without the intervention of the City of Antwerp. They will then immediately proceed to the demolition of these buildings after depositing an amount of 300 francs into the regional treasury. This amount represents the value of the materials resulting from the decomposition. Art. 2.- The properties are sold with all their active and passive, visible and hidden, continuous and interrupted easements, available for the purchasing City to make them suffer and to defend itself against others, but without the intervention and without the responsibility/liability of the sellers.
