This dataset accompanies the study by Roberto Kirmayr Jaquetti, Josiane Celerino de Carvalho, Karen Cristina Pires da Costa, Adamir da Rocha Nina Junior, Jair Max Furtunato Maia, George Louis Vourlitis, Gustavo Habermann, and José Francisco de Carvalho Gonçalves, which investigates how fertilized and unfertilized Fabaceae tree species respond to water shortage in Amazonian reforestation efforts. The dataset includes measurements of gas exchange (photosynthesis, stomatal conductance and transpiration), leaf area, macro- and micronutrient concentrations (P, K, Ca, Fe, Zn), and non-structural carbohydrates (soluble sugars and starch) for six Fabaceae species under drought and wet conditions, with both fertilized and unfertilized treatments. Data were collected over a 25-month period in a degraded Amazonian area, enabling analysis of physiological and biochemical responses to environmental and nutritional scenarios. This resource supports restoration strategies and policy decisions for tropical forest management, and is intended for researchers studying plant ecophysiology, forest restoration, and tropical ecosystem resilience.
