Rail pay buses were used to deliver wages and salaries of railway employees. These cards detail the maintenance history of rail pay bus vehicles, and record date and place of trial trips, date and place of service provision, engine details, gear box details, final drive and vehicle details, and remarks, which includes details of incidents such as accidents or derailments and subsequent repairs. The final assignment of the vehicle at the end of service is also recorded.Custody HistoryThis series was formerly part of the State Rail Archives collection.
